I would be willing to bet that getting the roof liner in leather would really magnify that beautiful frangance of leather!

Looks like a really nice ride.
I really like my sport steering wheel,...if you prefer a thinner firmer wheel it's the way to go.
Make sure you try the adaptive sport seats and make sure they adapt to your habitus! I really wanted them but I just couldn't feel comfortable in them.

That's great. Johnny Carson, "I did not know that."

Too bad BMW can't catch on and make my 04M3 button-studded wheel do more things; 4 of the eight buttons on it are useless without phone.

Yes, do you lose the multi-function if you go with the thick wheel. I want multi-function, so the thicker rim isn't an option for me.

A couple of notes on your specifics:

Adaptive Sports Seats (P01) Should be P01L for full leather

o.k. thanks.

Door Finishers in Leather (XTV) Isn't that included in a full leather interior?

No it is not. I confirmed with my Sales Manager.

You're correct on the CPT leather storage cover w/ crest. I added that to my specs.

Thanks.

QUOTE MichaelL Your option package looks good. (XTV is needed for door finishers.) You might also consider:
XSB Sport Seat Backs in Leather (std. finish is volcano gray plastic)

Not needed since AT is full black leather which gets the seat backs in leather.

XMP Leather Sun Visors

Thought about it. Good point.

425 Rear Window Wiper

Not interested. I want to keep the lines of the car clean and figured with the slope of the rear window, it wouldn't be a major issue.

There a quite a few other leather options, such as for A, B, & C pillars, switches, vents, instruments, PCM console, etc. They probably look great, but can drive the price up several thousand. Look in the order guide for the full list of goodies that are available.

Been there done that.

If I were doing mine again, I would add a couple more leather options. Getting rid of the plastic really makes the interior more luxurious. Good luck - Hope you don't have to wait too long.

Thanks.

Default Revised Order & Dilemma

Thanks for the help guys.

Below is the following revised specs:

GT Silver Metallic (U2)
Black Full Leather (AT)
19" Carrera Sport Wheels (XRR)
Wheel Caps with Colored Crest (446)
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (482)
Self Dimming Mirrors (267)
Carrera Power Kit (X51)
Sport Shifter (XCZ)
Adaptive Sports Seats (P01)
Sport Seat Backs in Leather (XSB)
Heated Seats (342)
Three Spoke Multi-Function Steering Wheel (431)
Door Finishers in Leather (XTV)
Footrest in Aluminum (XXZ)
Steering Column Casing in Leather (XNS)
Storage Cover in Leather with Crest (CPT)
Gear Lever Trim in Leather (CDZ)
Rear Center Console in Leather (XTV)
Dome Lamp Cover in Leather (XZD)
Sun Visors in Leather (XMP)
Floor Mats with Leather Edging (XX1)
Extended Navigation Module (672)
Bose High End Sound Package (680)
Remote CD Changer (692)

Now, for my dilemma. As you can see, X51 is being ordered. That is backordred until April sometime. That pushes the build slot into probably May/June. Should I hold out and take an 2007?

Anyone have any experience with European Delivery? I'm leaning toward doing it.

Finally, dealer offered MSRP less $6,000. Comments?

Add the Phone 666. Its about 4.5 hrs to install later and its a nightmare to try and do it yourself. I think the price is not too bad for factory insall, but to try and peice it after market it is about 1550. w/out install

I would consider the Sunvisors in Leather
instead of
Floor Mats with Leather Edging.
The floor mats will wear out just the same as the regular ones.
It's only money

Have a Blast at PDE

Thanks. This one is partially for my escape from things like phones. No permanent install phone in this one.
