Default A Neat Trick: Part II.

I was washing my car today and pulled the outside mirrors back and saw a red tab inside. I often wondered about what that tab was and why it was red. Anyway finally figured it out, its to lock the mirror on a "folded" position, probably for those tight European parking spaces.

i guess it's really more of an suv trait, power operated mirrors, as they're so much wider

My M5 had it. I always thought it was for the increased aerodynamics. Besides, when your flying at 110, who cares who is behind you (except the cops, of course!)
