Coochas....are your sills blue? Or is that a digital picture mis-color?

The color almost looks light light blue in real life.

Default Lighted Sills

The more I look at the lighted sills, the more I like them.

Maybe it's time to change from std sills to lighted. I have time as production starts in March.

Regards,
Deanski

I'll tell you why not. ... Don't get 'em if you're not 100% convinced it's a must have option for you. But they do look kinda nice, and give the car a classy, unique look that says 'this is no ordinary car you're about to get into.'

Just remember that its cheaper to have the Germans do it than to have the Americans, I dont know how much it cost to have it done at the factory but I'm sure its much cheaper than doing it after you have it here

I know there are different part numbers, BUT is that logo different - i.e. does the S logo = 4S logo = "Carrera S" ??
This is the big question? The part numbers might only be different because of the alignment with the rear fender.

Yipee, I finally got my pictures to work on page 2

I think the factory cost for the illuminated door sils was a little over 700. When I get home, I will give the exact amount and option number for those that are interested. At times the sil has a slight bluish hue to it. I can almost guarentee that it has the 'wow' factor (for a relatively cheap price). At night when my friend was checking out the car, the 1st thing he noticed when he opened the door was the sil and commented very positively.

I will be ordering this mod once the sat mod is finished. I agree...reading this Board consumes cash very quickly.!!!

Coochas,

You have brought up a good point. One would assume that if you order the part# associated with the 4S logo thats what you'd get. But as of today I have not seen one. I would ask your dealership about this. If such exist maybe they can swap yours for the correct Carrera 4S logo

Best Wishes,
