Default 997 S Cab, 996 TT or 230 shares of Google?

Just curious what you would do. (Wonder what the replies would be if I posted this in a Nasdaq forum?)

As someone who lost a fortune in 2000, I'd easily take the 997 S Cab. It is more fun and you'll never regret doing it.

On a Nasdaq forum someone would suggest something insanely complicated like buying long and hedging with March puts in combo with April's calls before selling short on margin... or something such.

The cab would be much more fun.

My guess is probably more depreciation in Google than either the Cab or TT over the next 5 years. Google will have to go through some major organizational growing pains before the firm can grow to a size to support a sustainable revenue stream even close to the multiple they are trading at today.

i have driven several 996tts, including this weekend with my friends turbo S with x50 package...while the 996tt is very fast and very smooth and almost luxury car like, the 997s has a much better chassis, better steering, better tranny and clutch, much better ergnomics and a nice exhaust note...so in everyday street drive, the 997s would be more engaging for me to drive than the 996tt

Just sold my $440 January put options I bought yesterday for a nice $$11 profit. Love the volatility of these stocks.

996TT. I prefer having a roof. I also passed on Google after the offer and have been kicking myself since. The wonders of 20/20 investment hindsight.

Get a Cayman and put the rest in a solid REIT and let the dividends pay for upgrades.

Hindsight is 20/20, but that 997S is starting to look pretty good relative to Google.

Indeed - I wouldn't make that same mistake twice!

When I decided I was definitely going to purchase a 997 I cashed in my investments and kept the money in cash (for 7+ months) because I wasn't going to let the market crash and screw me again like it did in 2000!

Quick Reply: 997 S Cab, 996 TT or 230 shares of Google?
