Slightly OT, but also related to service manuals. Has anyone ever dealt with this company?

(Link deleted)

They have quite a bit of Porsche service manuals. However, not the one for the 997 (yet?).

Edgy01, Murano is a "Nissan thing", not a "Toyota thing".

Found this on the 993 Forum:

"... I use AlldataDIY.com for 993 service. After downloading the 1400 page 993 tech manual it is the same information. I would say that alldata is more "user friendly" because its hypertext and its not like a book - rather menu driven.

The other advantage for alldata is that TSBs are current and useful if you run into problems that may be warranty issues - like thw wiring harness etc.

I still plan on using both - I dont think one supercedes the other but both good references. Alldata is cheap - 14.95 a year so its not a huge investment - especially if you need access to the information - when you are travelling."

$14.95 a year seems too good to be true. Is 997 info available on Alldata?

As I am sure you are all aware, copyright violation is illegal - regardless of whether you agree with the pricing Porsche has for their service manuals or not.

A Group Buy for a service manual to be shared violates copyright laws and is against Rennlist policy.
