Default How many miles on your car when......

How many miles on your cars when you purchased them .I am so stupid after thinking I just realized there was about 85 miles on my car when I got it.I have 2500 miles on it now and it runs fine.Is that normal to have that many miles..I bought it off the lot and it was not a special order. Is it still considered new with that many miles?

7 on mine.
85 seems excessive.

Once upon a time, OCBen taught me how to properly cut and paste a thread but I was able to unteach myself... me thinks that this paste will lead to a lot of data -

Don't lose any sleep over it. But I would have been very pi**ed and would have wanted a full explanation if the car I ordered arrrived with more than 15-20 miles on it.

LOL ... As I started to read the first post on this thread I immediately thought of that same thread and thought it would be good for Woodranch to see what others have posted as their delivery miles, and so I opened a new browser window and was about to do a search when I scrolled down and saw that Johnny boy beat me to it.

Yep! And hey, somehow I correctly remembered what you taught me about cutting and pasting a post. Thanks again for that tip.

Well then, they took the succka for a few joyrides aka "demo/test drives" beating the sheet out of it each time. I felt embarassed for the sales guy when he took me for a ride and proceeded to..., well..., "abuse" the unsold car right before my eyes.

Don't worry too much though, because the engines are supposed to be very tough.

70 miles. And I guess I would have bought it anyway...as it was on the lot, the first Porsche I ever drove, I love it and I made a quick decision. ....sorta what I did with the wife 28 years ago and that seems to have worked out....although I'm not really sure how many miles.....well, nevermind.

You can **ck it up in 1 mile. The # of miles at delivery is not that big a deal. How it was drived is.
