Nice X-Mas present for myself...
Just recieved this...
It's OK as watches go. I'm not convinced of the strap being part of the watch (how do you replace it if it wears out) but it is very stylish. One cool thing is that there is a tire thread pattern on the inside of the strap, and its the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 thread pattern, just like on my car! Sweet.
Another nice item, I've not encountered is the non glare coating on the crystal. Head on its really makes the crystal dissappear.
The movement is quartz and probably the same a everyone elses. The frustrating thing is the minute counter on the Chrono only goes to 30.
It would have been nice if the hands were like the hands on the chrono package that comes with the 997 and the number fonts as well.
The name "Porsche" doesn't appear anywhere on the watch, just 911.
Price is $600.

Ah yes, you're the watch man. ... Nice. I guess once the tread wears out that's when you replace the band, no? ... Too bad it doesn't come in Pirelli P Zero tread pattern - I might be interested then. j/k
