All right, Tooms! ...

That is good news indeed! ... Looks like you'll have a fantastic Christmas after all!

I'll go ahead and schedule your detailing appointment for December 26th!

Geez, I hope this sales guy is right as I've been feeling like like I've had about 40 shots of espresso since he gave me the news.
All right, Joe! ... Congratulations to you too! ...

All you guys need now is the name of the vessel (which your sales guy will get for you) and you can track the ETA here!

Thanks Ben.

Better schedule me for around Jan 15TH. Don't think I'll be getting an early X Mas present.

Oh man--here I was thinking I'd have my C2S in my Christmas stocking and the dealer calls me today with the news that my car went thru Checkpoint 8 on 11/28 and it's not yet on a boat

Expect confusion with shipment. The dealer has no control and is not kept informed by PCNA. My car was noted as having passed port inspection on a wednesday morning, the dealer said it should show up thursday afternoon or friday morning, the normal trucking time from Baltimore to Long Island. The dealer went ballistic with the shippers, to no avail. Nobody knew where it was. It finally arrived a week from thursday. It had been shipped to Georgia instead. My salesman had 2 cars on this boatload and was a basket case by the time they came in. Barnes & Noble does a better job of tracking a $5 paperback book.

As the longest waiter here I can safely say completely out of everyone's control. Just relax until you get the ON VESSEL news then it's safe to start getting excited.

LOL--start getting even more excited is more like it. Kind of reminds me of the "Animal House" double secret probation. Do you know what "workstation 8" is and when do you get the VIN?

There is a thread here on these forums that show the codes you can probably find it on a search.

I just got the completed production and my VIN last week and just the day before the salesman had told me I was in the paint shop.

They certainly are not FEDX with their tracking.

Do I take it that you do not have a VIN yet? If not the car is not finished being buit.

I had gotten a expected completion date of December 5, and I checked with my dealer today and received notification that a VIN has been assigned (I got the VIN number too, so that is something to be excited about, I guess). I assume the next stage is ONVSEL? I am curious if anyone knows the frequency of the ships, ie, is it every 2 weeks, or once a month or weekly? That way I can figure the 'latest' date of arrival, and hope for the 'earliest' (its going to Jackson Mississippi, so I assume it will be the GA dock?).

I'm thinking I'm not going to order my next one! I've gotten different build dates and yes it's on the boat and no it's not and on and on. Really makes you wonder about quality control!
