What I would really like to see is Slate Grey with Sand Beige interior. With Slate having some earth tones in it, that would make for an awesome combination, in my opinion. I doubt there are many people who realized that and thus ordered their car that way. But if there happens to be some lucky person out there with this combination, please post your pics and let us all see this beautiful combination!

Ben, good call I agree slate/sand would be great combo.
I probably would've ordered 2tone black/sand or black/tc interior with Slate if
they'd offered them at the time--preferring black dash & sills to cut reflections.
Here is a lucky 987S owner's slate grey/sand beige..v.classy.

Thanks alot Stan. And I agree with you that a 2 tone black/sand would be really sharp.

My daily driver (300ZX) is Dark Pewter in exterior color, which resembles Slate a lot. And it has a 2 tone interior, with the dash, steering wheel, top of the door panels, door handles and center console in a darker shade of matching pewter. The rest of the door panels and the leather seats in a beige color. Really sharp actually.

Ben,
i say the Slate with Natural brown. i have an eye on it but don't want to spend the extra to order. i say that combo will be nice.

btw, with carbon interior.

Yeah, I hear ya. But really, what's a few extra g's if you plan to keep the car a long time. I would at least get Slate if you really like it. I had it on my order but changed it when after looking at a Slate car under overcast skies it looked a lot like just a darker shade of grey to me, and I didn't feel like paying extra for dark grey. But the beautiful subtle undertones in the paint are clearly apparent in the sun and under artificial lighting. Now I regret not getting it. ... Oh well!

And how long do you usually keep 'em? And why do you get rid of them?... You mean you haven't come across a car that you know right away will be a keeper? ... Did it ever cross your mind that maybe, just maybe, this new 911 will become that elusive keeper that you never thought you'd come across?

Asked another way, do you change girlfriends often? If so, could the problem be with commitment?

good questions. what was the last car i kept more than 11 month?!... don't ask me why. it's sickness. i do have a keeper currently i think.

good i don't change gf like cars. it's hard to find a quality female the way i want. can't order them. so i'd rather stay single for now.

Seal Gray with black leather is a good combination.
