I don't understand why more people don't order paint-to-sample.

Yes, it's an expensive option--but being financially responsible and buying a new Porsche are mutually exclusive goals.

Paint-to-sample allows your Porsche to be truly customized and unique. What other manufacturer offers this possibility?

If you consider the cost of the option as a percentage of the overall price, it's not that big a deal. So bring on the tangerine (and pure orange and viper green and Gulf blue) cars!
