Basalt/Terracotta/Black Carrera S is here!
The details: basalt black, terracotta/black two-tone, PCCB, rear wiper, sport chrono, dimming mirrors, sport shifter. So far, so good. I'm looking forward to breaking in the car and enjoying it on the track; if it has enough miles by next weekend, it'll go to Sebring.

i love that package - BMW called it Carbon black on cinnamon - a client had a cab in that combo and just a fantastic colour scheme imo.

Thanks for the kind words Superfans, JFS, eyebrow, C.J., 1080, and Cpa. I'll take more photos in daylight, which will better show the colors.
It's not like carbon black over cinnamon. I used to have a carbon black M3, so I'm intimately familiar with the color. CB has a blue flake; it's more navy blue than it is black. Cinn is fairly orangy. Basalt is black with a metallic gray flake, almost like a dark gray. Terracotta has more red in it, but it's still kind of orangey.
I never thought I would be 'one of those guys' who obsessed over colors, but this car took some serious thought. I knew the yellow calipers would be there, and I knew I didn't want to introduce too many colors: black, orange (terracotta), yellow, etc. They're all autumnal colors, and I think they go together well. The black GT3 seats should match the black mats and black dash, and the silver tequip bar should complement the silver trim. I was actually afraid the car would come out looking like halloween, but thankfully it didn't.

Yes, Carbon Black is more like Porsche's Midnight Blue Metallic. Basalt/Terracota works very well. Congrats.

Congrats. Looks real nice. Great color combo. Very unique look with that two-tone interior. Excellent choice.
Btw, I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to know, but is that you in your avatar when you were a kid, or is that your kid, or just a cool pic you found somewhere?
