Default PSE on/off switch with sport chrono?

Hi, i'm new to this form. I ordered a 997S with X51. Is it possible to have PSE on/off switch with sport chrono package?

No. If you have the Sports Chrono Package, the on/off button for this also operates the exhaust.

Persuader, you mean that it can't be done? Even by instaling another button and making power connections?

Probably could be done, just can't order it that way. I wish you could, I would have.

A switch can be done and it's easy for your technician. I had one put in the ashtray box in the console. It eliminates the speed cut-off and allows exhaust on or off with sport on or off. My tech charged $190 total and the wire runs under the carpet to the back. Apparently there is a wire (in addition to the vacuum hose) that controls the exhaust flap or bypass. I asked the tech for details to post here and he said it was so simple, any tech could do it, there's only one wire controlling it and a simple toggle switch could be put anywhere it was convenient for the driver to use it. Good luck. I would love to hear how the x51 compares to the regular S.

Default I have PSE. Sport button IS the ON/OFF switch....

for controling the resonance chambers on PSE. With sport button "on" the chambers are open and you'll hear the exhaust fully open up around3500-4500 rpm.

My dealer didn't know how to turn it on and told me that it "must just always be on"..... uugh. Anyway.....
