^ funny story about the ignition on the wrong side:
the first time me or my father drove a porsche (at least of the newer generation for him), was when we went to test drive a C4S at the local dealer. The dealer let us take it out for ourselves but we couldn't for the life of us find the damned ignition. hell we even tried starting the glovebox (the stupid keyhole thing in front of us) but couldn't wonder why that beauty of a flat-6 wouldn't fire up.
it must have take all of 5-7 minutes b4 we figured out to look on the other side of the steering column. After this embarassing debacle....i joined renntech

You know you are a Porsche owner when you spend $13.95, plus shipping, for a custom painted dime sized piece of plastic to stick into the driver side door key hole, simply because a Porsche fanatic now makes a custom painted dime sized piece of plastic to stick into the driver side door key hole. (No offense Eric - it was my decision to purchase and its worth every penny! )
