All but 50mi today was on US Highways, mostly undivided two lane, starting from Marysville, KS going West across the top of Kansas to Lebanon on US-36 to visit the Monument marking the Geographic Center of the US, just to say I've been there. From there I took US-83 South to Liberal Kansas and hooked up with US-54 that takes you SW thru KS, OK, TX, NM and hooks up with I-40.
US-54 in NM is one of the nicest roads that I have driven in the US it is SMOOTH and high speed crusing is a pleasure.
US highways, at least the ones that I was on today necessitate practice of ones passing skills to get around slower moving traffic as well as patience going thru the town speed zones that can at times drop you down to 20mph and may have several stop lights in town as well. Kicks the heck out of av speeds...

And do I have Bugs...a Rejex test
