Default 997S Pics @ Yosemite

I decided to head up to Yosemite with the new 997S and snapped a few pics for y'all. The car now has 2700 miles and I am so happy to be done with break in! In fact, I drove through a tunnel today up here and hit 6K RPM in 3rd and it sounded like a freakin Indy car! I love that soung at full throttle - nothing else like it!

The car drove great on the mountain highways - didn't hit any foxes which is a very good thing! Don't worry about the picture below with my car by the brush fire, I was able to get away safely with only some ash on the windshield. For those who haven't been to Yosemite for awhile, it is really stunning right now!!!

Great shots. I was in Yosemite in July with the family for 3 days driving my dad's E55 around (its nice to have 500 lbs of torque in the mountains..). There were those piles of brush stacked all over the place on the hillsides. Interesting to see them actually lit for their purpose now.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing. Your car looks ultra modern in contrast with the general store pic.

I thought california required you to have front plates.... for that matter... where are your rear plates?

brand new car = no plates for me. Actually, they ruin the aesthetics of the 997 so maybe I will keep them off ;-)
