Default How much do you drive?

Just curious on how many miles you drive per year on your Porsche. I know the 997 has only been out since 2005 but I'm curious on what ya'll think you will average per year.

Not Enough!! Even though my 06 997S is my daily driver, I have a short commute. Average annual estimated 6500 miles.

Probably not over 5-6K per year, mostly summer & fall. Tires will never touch snow or wet streets. Have 1998 Mercedes SL with only 11,600 on it. (not even broken in yet)

6 K miles in 6 months. I have a winter car and put about 8 K miles on that per year. Total of 20 a year on two cars.

I'll easily do 12000 a year. Got the car Nov 04 have right at 10000 miles now. I drive the truck for a day or two then the 997 for a day or two. After a couple of days in the truck I can't wait to get back in the 997.

Ditto here, except for the overseas part. Got mine on March 5th and have put 10,000 miles on it. My lease is also 15K per year... so I think I'm F**ked! Guess I'll have to... 1) cut back on my driving, or... 2) Drive my wife's MB CLK a couple days per week, or... 3) plan to buy the P-car at lease end. Options 1 & 2 suck, so I guess I'll be buying it!

It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!

6600 km since July... but I put on 4550 km in a 7 day road trip, which I would highly recommend to anyone with a new 997!!! It's a great way to get to know your new car!!

Around 12,000 miles since last November and was just fine in the snow with Sotto Zero winter tires. Also have a 15K/yr lease. This car is meant to be driven not pampered!

Probably close 20-25k a year. At 3300 miles and just a tick over a month since delivery.
