What is this option? I saw it listed on a vehicle in a local dealer's inventory.

I ended up buying this car with the painted rear emblem. For those who have never seen this option or are considering this option I have taken a picture of it. I do like the look of the painted emblem, I think it is alot better looking than the standard chrome piece and adds to the look of the vehicle.

The standard emblems are silver, pretty close in color to RDKJ's photo above. They're not chrome.

The car is GT Metallic Silver. Most emblems I have seen appear to be leaning more towards a chrome, not silver. Maybe, someone can post a picture for comparison's sake.

How much is the option? Knowing Porsche's option prices, you are probably better off doing an emblem delete and then buying a new painted emblem from bumperplugs.com.
