AMGETR, you car looks sweet! Sits perfect. All I am looking for is 1 to 1.5 inches drop max and if someone could comment on ride differences from stock (997S w/sport chrono/pasm) and estimated cost with install I would be gratefull. Also do you think the H&R springs stiffen the ride too much? I wouldn't want my car to ride the same as if I had pasm on all the time (stiffer setting) but something inbetween would be nice. If we could get the -20mm option here in the US I wouldn't bother inquiring at all. What about warranty issues? Sorry for all the questions but concerned about the ride being too stiff with pasm in normal setting? Cheers.

AMGETR, I really like the rear wing spoiler on your car. Which model is that and where can I get it installed. Did they come painted or you had to get it painted afterward?

I just got off the phone with GMP out of North Carolina. They are a H&R dist. They checked with H&R and confirmed that the spring part numbers quoted above are not approved for PASM and are not recommended by them (H&R). So whats up with that. According to them (H&R) they don't recommend doing it. H&R is working on some springs but no comment on when they might be available. They said "yea you may not be having any problems but who knows what the future may hold".

Interesting stuff indeed... so far we've been using either Cargraphic or Tech Art lowering springs for the 997s with PASM and obviously PSS9s for those without.

We have been selling the PASM version H&R springs for 3 months now... I have no idea what they are talking about... They are indeed a different part for PASM cars and we have installed over 10 sets in which all have gone perfect!
H&R Part Numbers:
Without PASM: 291 81-1
WITH PASM: 291 88-1

I have 8 sets of PASM springs in stock, just give me a call!!
Evan
PS- Alex, we will have PSS9's available for PASM cars next month!!

Default FVD who?

Yeah, the guy I dealt with from FVD was pretty cool. He even gave me the family discount. It took about a week for the new springs to settle in and the car looks great. The only problem is I have to park on the street now because I can't get in and out of my driveway. I'll put some before and after pics up.

Default After H&R

This pic was taken the day after the install. It is actually about a quarter inch lower now than it is in this pic. Perfect drop in my opinion.
