Default Lowering with PASM

What's the verdict? Can we lower PASM cars with H&R springs?? Is there a set for PASM equipped cars and one for non PASM equipped cars, or is it the same spring??

Thanks in advance.

Yes , there are H&R springs available for PASM equipped cars available. I'm planning on having them installed in my car upon delivery.

Fred,

Do you have a model number for those springs, or are they the same as for non PASM cars? How about the european sport springs? I spoke to the parts guy at the dealer this morning, he said about an inch all around, and the dealer would install and align the car. Have you heard about these?? My S just got on vessel on the 19th so I am trying to pick up all the parts I need . . .

Thanks. . .

I'm planning on calling my dealer and asking them to install and realign upon arrival of the car. Once I get the car I don't want to have to take it back to the dealer till the first service is due - knock on wood.

We'll be popping them on Jeff's 997s this week so I'll be sure to take some before and after. Actually these will be Cargraphic springs but I'll need to get back to the shop tomorrow and find some pics of the car with/without the H&Rs.

Interested in everyone's feedback on this. Tooner, if you decide to go the H&R route be sure to post where you had it installed (SF Bay Area region). I'll let you go first this time. Cheers.

Thumbs up

I have H&R's on my Carerra S. It lowered it about 1 1/2 inches. PASM and Sport Techno package still work correctly. I'm glad I made the change. RUF did my install.
