depends on how you use them - There are cases where they have failed in less than 500 miles of track driving (crumbled/chunked off). For street use I don't think there would be any problems though. There's a reason the racecars are still using iron discs...

The Gen2 PCCB have seemed to have sorted out the pre-mature failure problems under extreme use.
When I was last at PDE (March), the PCCB rotors on the "S" cars there looked just fine, Barber Motorsports Park is a track that is hard on brakes that has alot of trailbraking.

Ask the price of a replacement rotor and then ask yourself if it is worth it. I think the Gen 2 rotors are what, $6000 *six thousand dollars) EACH.
