What arguments did your sales guy present against your getting SS and PSE?
Yes, my car is a 997S, Seal Grey with Sand Beige Full Leather Interior, adaptive sport seats, Sport Chrono, Bose High End Sound, Nav, colored wheel caps, clear side markers. I added black mats to keep dirt from being evident on floors. Also makes a nice contrast to the beige interior. Here is a picture of my car at delivery on October 28th

My car is very similar, seal grey with black int. the sales guys opinion was that the new car has such a reduced throw over the old 996 that it is good as is and that the SS was a little radicle for street driving. as for the exhaust, he said that the stock one sounded great so how loud do you need it anyway? he was young so i am surprised at his comments. it could be that he was trying to keep the car as cheap as possible for me so i would no be freaked out at the payment. I kind of think this is the case, money being no bla bla he would say order them. i just don't want the car to be jerky on the street b/c my M3 is really a pain to drive smoothly and I consider myself a good driver, but you really have to concentrate on the shift to make it a smooth one. when I drove the 997, it was such a joy to drive and shift. when i drove the TT with SS, it was def. knochy, but there was no missing a gear with that SS.

Thanks. I am very happy with the combination. So far no scratches to contend with. As for cleaning, it is way easier to maintain than a black car, and about the same as a silver car. It may even be a bit better about not showing any dirt than a silver car.

Default More Pics of Seal Grey/Sand Beige Combo

Here are some more pictures of the Seal Grey and Sand Beige combination. This is not my car, but is the one that made me change my order to this combination.
