I did consider, but it is not compatible with Europe, where my car will be shipped to this summer.

Reading the feedback, I indeed would not go for it anymore in the USA. In The Netherlands it is sort of mandatory for this type of cars.

I think Kurt M states it best. It will have to be totaled for you to get another car, and for these cars, that is when the engine and the body are trashed totally, probably won't happen. What are you going to do, lie or purposely wait a week later or more to report it? I have Lo Jack and glad that I do.

You don't want Lo Jack... there is a much better system available. See link:

You can track your car, disable it, etc. from the internet.
