I don't know about Texas, but i So Cal, my dealer is offering 10k off the new 04s. go for the 05, they are much better interiors, and the extra equipments worth more than 10k to me.

I had a great experience with Park Place Porsche in Dallas on my '05 997S Cab that I took delivery of last month. I worked with Hugh Shelton over there.

I had a great experience with Steve Rosencrantz at Boardwalk in Plano. He is very technical and knows the cars inside and out. If I were you I'd go for the '05, the new interior and headlight setup make it worth it, and by all means definitely get the Sport Chrono Package, you'll be glad you did.

Both dealers in Houston have equally inept sales depts. That's why I bought my car in Flaorida.

another vote for Boardwalk Porsche.... by far the best dealership in TX in my opinion... i see the mechanics and salesman from Boardwalk with grease up to their elbows most race weekends at Motorsport Ranch and elsewhere for PCA events... they seem to be pretty true enthusiasts... service is good and sales staff seem fair...

my favorites = Cliff Blackshear in Service (featured occasionally in Panorama), and Davis in Sales...straight shooter

no affiliation other than very satisfied service customer.... never bought a car there...
