bose system settings

PV,
You also should have asked people to say if they have the upgraded Bose or not, as there's a seperate setting for surround processing which has a big impact on the sound.
Upgraded Bose
Bass-1 (if the song is boomy -2)
Treble 0
Surround -6 (I find that the 0 setting is way too spatial for my taste....problem with spatial is that you lose sound imaging)

I leave the surround sound off. It sounds kind of tinny IMHO. Maybe I have not figured out how to readjust the bass to match the surround sound speaker arrangement. Who knows? I haven't given it much thought I guess. I'm so wrapped up in enjoying the ride!!!!!!!!! What an awesome car!!!!!!!!! Almost 12000 miles since December!!! I can't put down the keys!!!! I'm almost sleeping with them!!!!!

holminator: I agree. I have 10,500 after 4 months. The first 3000 miles I rarely turned on the radio.
I discovered last night that you can adjust the settings under "sound" while listening to music.....so, if you really want to hear it "custom" you can adjust as the songs play. Not really complicated, you just have to be in the mood to listen to music and not the engine.
