Carmon Red pics???

We saw Carmon on a Boxster a week ago and I can tell you it looks totally different than on the Porsche site. It is not a red like my Magnetic Red metallic Corvette, it is a wine (burgundy) color. Wife loved it, I didn't.

I saw one in person at the local P-car dealer. Very elegant looking! It was on the showroom floor. Salesman said it looks even better in natural daylight. I liked it primarily because it was not the prerequisite silver, gray or black, which seem to be everywhere! No offense meant to owners of silver, gray, or black P-cars!!

Yep, very different in daylight and totally different compared to the web color.
I was looking for Basalt Black or Carmon Red. Get a lot of compliments from both males and females. Even people open their windows and start talking while at a stoplight. Not once or twice in total, but a few times a week.
I haven't seen another one yet.

The pictures are taken with an old low resolution digital camera. Not the best quality to my opinion.

I have a brand new digitial camera since last week. That one makes very nice pictures (7.2 Mpixel), but now I have to clean up the P-car.

I had my pro Nikon D2H with me today to get a picture, but the dealer had none in stock!
In fact, he didn't even have a 997 for me to test drive! Everything was sold so he only had customer's cars. Next shipment would be August/September. Drat!

Thanks to all who have provided the Carmon Red pics. I must say that I really like that color, and I think that it would look great with a Sand interior, kind of like the old Arena Red/cashmere. I'm tempted to change my order before it's too late. Hmmm......................................
