They all appear junky. But they work. I'm talking about the one's avail at local auto stores. Probably all made in China, but their quality is pretty good. They take a long time to fill a tire and they are noisy but they do what they say they do for under $15. That's all I know.

I have one like that. Standing steady and ready in the garage for over three years now. Not realy light, but doing what it should do with a lot of noise. Tires, *****, everyting that needs air.

Get the one from Michelin (can't really get it wrong with this model)

What are you using it for? I have one that is included with a jumper battery. What I love about it is the fact that you don't have to plug it in to pump up your tires. I got it from Sam's for $50. Also comes in handy when you need a jump.

The pump in the BMW Mobility kit is pretty good. Expensive...$165 but comes with the tire goop that you can pump into the tire through the pump and "fix" a puncture. The old model on the M5 has a built in guage and I have carried it in the P-car since I got the car.
