They may engineer the best sports car in the world, but they certainly can't built a working web page. Where do we begin with that wonderful Porsche Car Configurator? Lets start with the 997S Cab...

1. Basalt Black color is really Atlas Grey. In fact, most colors are wrong.

2. Full Leather Interior is $1520 and Full Leather Seats are $3,315. These prices are reversed.

3. Metalic Colors are free on the web - but an $815 option in reality.

4. Under Model Data - Interior Description - the cab has a sunroof!!!!

5. Try and save your configuration and you'll pull your hair out. It does not work.

Well the cab does have a sunroof.....just a rather large one :-D

 

The Porsche Car Configurator has been bonkers since the day it was conceived. Piece of garbage for a website. Oh well, at least there can be some fun in it if you want to play.

So many other websites do this better. Porsche will be the last to grab top level technology for the masses on their configurator.

 

PCNA Dealer order guides are not even up to date

 

It is really a shame, too. BMW and MB have nice ones.
