Default Road trip pt2

Today was a 567 mi journey from Gallup, NM to Elk City, OK.
Awakened this AM to a car with slushey snow covering it...and on the drive over the Continental Divide I was greeted with heavy snow showers..ugh I'am a California kid and we don't have that in LA.. Finally I got out of the mess.
Entering Texas Ineed gas and stopped at a Shell and the best they had was 90 octaine..ah the car seems to run just fine..
The overall MPG for this leg was 27..so no complaints there..
A note of interest... So far NO Oil required, still registers FULL.
The car is great and only a couple hundred miles togo until the "official Break in period" is behind me.
A couple of pics attached for your viewing pleasure

Tires are PS2 and I don't know squat about driving in snow being from So Cal, the roads were wet with snow showers and the temp was 32-34°.
I survived!
Summer tires loose their grip around 40°

Keep up the writing. I'm enjoying the stories and pictures. Are you coming in the area of Houston?

I'm glad there was no snow-related incident. Some summer tires have no grip at all in those conditions. BTDT.

Keep the pics coming!
