Hmm, they appear to be US destined cars(amber turn signals etc.) They may be test vehicles that'll eventually be driven here.

its got a sport chrono on the dash, a rear wiper and 19 inch s wheels. why are you so excited. looks like a 997S with different exhaust and a wing.
and the reason they would test a GT3 in winter is???

Not sure what your point is about the rear wiper etc, and only the third photo shows a wiper installed anyway :confused:

Not sure what your point is about the winter testing either - I assume the Germans are testing the GT3 in winter because it's currently winter in Germany...Afaik, Porsche tests all new models in hot and cold extremes.

Yes, perhaps I am easily amused but I am really looking forward to this car becoming a reality if it looks like that and has performance which surpasses the current GT3 :burnout:

my point is this, GT3 wont come with rear wiper, 19 inch wheels or sport chrono. it also wont be undercoated or have the ride height for winter so why would this be a 997 GT3??

That's a very definitive statement - care to name your source?

Porsche tests all it cars in hot and cold climates. Thiese cars might also not be in their final configuration - they might offer a rear wiper, 19's and Sport Chrono as options, or they might be deliberately disguised this way to fool the like of Hans Lehman - who knows for sure?

Also the center exhaust would seem to give it away as possibly the GT3 - can't think of another N/A model they would bother doing that for.

yeah..they are going to offer sport chrono and 19 inch wheels on the GT3...and 4 wheel drive and PSM i suppoose as well?? :roflmao: :roflmao:

The 996 GT3 came with a/c, radio, power windows, power steering. So what's your point?
