I've chosen Atlas Gray for my Cabrio coming in May. I Like this color but i want to have opinions from different people.

Which color you prefer ? Atlas is just darker with bluish tones slate is lighter with brownish tones.

Slate is more expensive.

I've chosen also a Gray capote. Do you think i should change it for a black capote ?

I forgot that i added also painted wheels carrera S.

I read the post below but i couldn't make my mind up. Also the pics posted were wrong.

I'd like to see a direct comparison between the two colors.

The best way to judge is up close and personal. To me Slate Grey is just a darker grey, with no hues of any other color, even though it sometimes appears that way in photos. And if you like dark grey Atlas Grey is a good choice. I was able to compare all three at the same time and decided I liked Seal the best and that was that.

I like both colors, and if they were the same price it would really be a hard decision. However Atlas being over $2k less would make it the easy choice for me........it's a great color.

Atlas is a very dark grey with about 5% blue thrown in, while slate is a bit lighter with a touch of greenish brown in it.......

IMHO, atlas has more purple hues and slate has more brownish hues. Personally I like Slate better...

I saw some pics of Slate and i must say i prefer ATLAS.

My CAB will be Atlas with Stone Gray Capote and Natural Dark Grey interior.

What do you think ? Should i choose a BLACK Capote ?

The other two options are:

GT Silver Cocoa Capote and Cocoa interior

Triple Blue: Midnight Blu , Blu Capote and Sea Blu interior

What do you think ?

I think a black top will look much, much better on Atlas Grey.

I'd stick with the stone grey top........that with Atlas & Natural Dark Grey would look *very* nice.

So would the other two combos, very nice also.

Here is a 996 cab.....Atlas Grey, black top.......nice, but not as nice as Stone would be IMO........

Also what do you think of painted wheels in atlas gray ? They would look too dark ?

Also i wonder which color is it the one shown in the porsche website in the Cabrio movie ? It looks mid blue. Is it cobalt ?

I've seen cobalt but looks lighter.

I'm curious coz i like that color very much

The Porsche painted wheels are crap. They'll chip faster than the oil will be consumed in your porous engine block.

Personally I like the black top. It will show MUCH LESS wear and dirt than the stone and I think it looks stunning on the Atlas car.
