For the $3000 you pay for special colors you could buy PSE. Given that choice I would go for PSE everytime.

I'm a big fan of grey paint, but Seal is my least favorite...it's very flat. I much prefer the Steel Grey on my BMW. Both are similar in shade and blueish tint, but Steel has much more depth, IMO.

I really like Slate and Atlas, but given the price difference would go with Atlas.

New to the group but I thought this photo might be useful in the Slate Gray vs Seal Gray debate.

I present my 2003 Slate Gray C2 Cabriolet with a Seal Gray hardtop:

To this debate I say .... Silver.

Loving the 12+ year necrobump as first post. I thought I was the necrobump king.

I just now looked at the date. I feel like I traveled back in time.

Welcome to RL! It is quite the first post, resurrecting a 12 year old thread is no small feat. I would have voted slate btw. Looking at his old posts he went with Atlas.

I love this revived thread. I bought my 2006 slate gray cab online from the photo in my avatar.I didn't know how rare, expensive or cool slate was until I drove it home and learned more.
It's a great color.
