Pipefitter, field service.
Bought my first Porsche 2 years ago, a 2012 Carerra GTS 6spd. Now my wife wants her own Porsche, a 981 Cayman GTS. Trying to make it happen for her.
Hobbies include cooking, high end espresso and coffees, artisan Bbq, just ordered a Neapolitan pizza oven. Also too much time on Rennlist.
Cars history includes three Monte Carlos ('77, 83, 85 SS)
67 Chevelle
A Camaro and several unmentionables

Living the dream
2012 911 GTS Coupe PDK
Would have had a 911 in my early 30's if I didn't go to medical school.
Better late than never!

Physician
2010 C2S 6MT (my work vehicle is a 2020 Raptor).
Was hooked on the 911 the first time I saw a 964 as a very young kid.
There really is no substitute. When I’m not spending hours looking at all things 911-related online, I can be found cooking, traveling, and rewatching/quoting Seinfeld.
Luckily my SO is a Porsche fan and she is very supportive of my affliction.

Age 57
Defense Contractor
Former USMC helicopter pilot (22 yrs)
Married, 4 kids
Hobbies/Interests: skiing, tennis, Civil War history, cars, collecting ancient coins, spending time with family
Bought my first Porsche this year. 06 C2 Coupe 6 spd manual, The question I keep asking myself, every day I drive the car is "Why did I wait so long to buy a 911!?" I absolutely love the driving experience. Pushing that car through the twisties is like nothing else. It's therapy in its purest form.
Happy New Year everyone!

Age: 61
Occupation: Chef/Teacher
Hobbies: Any type of auto racing, camping, hiking
I have a long history with German cars, starting with my 1960 VW Bug, followed by an Opel GT, then a GTI...then a switch to Honda and work and career.
After moving to CA I bought an M3 which I meticulously cared for and drove hard. Owned that car for ten years and it was dialed-in when I sold it two years ago and bought the 997 which had been a bucket-list car. I love taking it camping! I get some great responses and conversations.

63 years old, retired at 55 after a career in sales and the sale of our family's business. Married, no kids of my own, but an adult step-son and DiL with two grandkids.
I have loved and owned sports cars since college, several Austin-Healeys, a few MGs, and a couple of 60's Mustangs. I've owned a few BMWs, and am now driving and meticulously caring for my third Porsche and most recent dream car, my 997.2 C4S Six-Speed Cabriolet.
