Default 997S Bolt Ons

Hello everyone, I am new to your forum. I currently own a 01 corvette conv. 6spd with a cold air package. I really like the 997S Cab and feel it is going to be my next ride. My question... Are there affordable add ons/ bolt ons to these cars to increase hp and more important torque. I have not driven the new 997 yet but the torque number is low compared to the vette. There are lots of aftermarket add ons for the vette but I don't see it for the 997's yet. Plus the engine compartment is very tight in these cars. Thanks David

There will be quite a bit of add-ons in the near future but, being a new design, it'll be a few months. I believe Gemballa has already released full exhaust and there should be more aftermarket companies following soon.

I have no doubt that I will be impressed. But, I do like the torque of the vette. I don't think there are many 997S at the dealer right now to drive. For those of you that have driven both cars. Can you feel the 100ft. lbs. difference?

You'll really have to drive both but I would say yes. The Porsche really comes alive above 5000 RPMs although it has plenty of torque to move comfortably in the middle RPM range.
