I was speaking to my OPC about colours. Here were his thoughts:

Best colours - GT Silver, followed by Arctic and Seal (although Seal doesn't look good on a dull day many of which we get here) These colours best pick up the subtle lines of 997.

Black - a disappointment doesn't pick up the subtleties of the 997;

Cobalt Blue - looks very strong - but not for an aged driver like me;

Speed Yellow and Guards Red - look good. Red may be making a come back; SY difficult on resale;

All the Greens - difficult to resell.

I've considered ordering one in Riviera Blue or Mexico Blue. However, Riviera Blue is not metallic, it's a solid color.

yeah i know standard riviera is solid, but thats why a Metalic version would certainly be a custom order, I think a riviera in metalic/pearl would look very nice
