I've had my QJ since Dec' 2020 and use it often on different cars. If I had the ceiling height I'd definitely go for a two post. It gets tiring laying on your back when you're doing work where you have to be under the car. Especially when you trying to torque bolts and don't have the swing leverage. You end up bending your body in a pretzel to get the right swing lol. Now if I were standing it be a piece of cake.

This is the public service announcement I came to say. The first time I lifted my 997 I only needed to raise the lift to half height for an oil change. QuickJacks are a parallelogram, not a scissor lift. With the label of the lifts toward the front and the weight of the motor in the rear the car became a teeter totter. I could have easily lifted up on the front bumper with one (weak) arm and put the rear bumper on the ground.

Also, I use to store my QuickJacks under my Corvette. Like others have said, push them together and drive over them. Just make sure you don’t drive over the hoses.

Yes I did ask in the FB Quickjacks group. The question was more around which QJ model to fit both the 997 911 and a 2021 Cayenne. I believe the answer was that you would need to get an extension kit for the 6000 to work on the Cayenne.

I thought so after I saw this post. I was the one that answered regarding the extensions.

For illustration this shows how a Quickjack should be aligned with label toward the rear when lifting a 911

It doesn’t work for the Cayenne, but oddly, will lift my Silverado.

I have the 5000 QJ's and use them on my 997.2 C4S and 718 Cayman Style Edition. Interesting, even though I start the jacks off pushing hard against my 997.2 rear tires, by the time I get to full height, they front part of the platform pushes into my front tires to the point that if I want to remove the front tires or otherwise need to spin the front tires (e.g., for inspection), I must deflate them significantly. I have standard sized (as indicated on door placard) 19" wheels and tire sizes. Luckily, this "inconvenience" only comes into play when I need to remove the front wheels/tires. (Yes, I place labels on QJ's to the rear as required for rear engine cars).

Have you tried the quickjacks without the mat, and were they scratching up your epoxy floor?
