Default Exhaust tips much lower after muffler install

Hey all!
When I purchased my 997.1 it had a muffler delete. After a little while of ownership, I had the engine mounts replaced and the exhaust tips were then basically perfectly aligned (to my eye). It looked like this for about a year - first picture.
Yesterday I had some Fister mufflers installed to reduce some of the noise - honestly hard to live with muffler delete, I wouldn't recommend. I guess it all went well, but when I got the car home I noticed the tips are much lower and honestly I just kind of don't like the way it looks. Is this something that is fixable, or because I put mufflers on maybe it's normal that these are lower? It does look like everything is tight underneath the car but I am no expert.

To my eye, looks like the tips are set in the lowest possible downward angle and a matter of adjustment. Get under there and loosen the bolt that secures the tip to the muffler so you can pivot the outer edge of the tip upward a bit. I think a small change there will make a big difference on that gap.

Oh like it's actually pretty easy to do? I might give it a shot myself.

Also if your engine mounts are old they might need replacing. Old worn mounts can drop the exhaust tips 1"- 2"

I replaced them like a year / less than a thousand miles ago so should be good there It was only after adding mufflers (had a muffler delete before) that it looks like they are much lower.

Super simple to adjust, think a 12 or 13mm socket is needed. I was surprised by how much up/down adjustment there was on the tips.

We compromised! I gave her Fister mufflers so it still sounds good, just don't need earplugs to drive now

Just adjusted them; I think on the right side I got a little more adjustment, easier, and that to me seems good to go. Other side I had slightly more issue and employed a rubber mallet after loosening the bolt. It does look better but I'm not convinced I'm totally done. Will post pics a little later

Here's what it looks like now; comparing side by side not that different I guess.

HI All,
the .2 porsche exhaust tubes (not the tips) are reasonably malleable, I have had success matching up PSE side boxes (from the breaker yard) with the centre assembly, both standard and center delete options.

Initially, the LHS tube missaligned with its joint onto the centre muffler by about 3/4"

Careful application of force to the tube that is missaligned, using a suitably sized exension pipe in the correct vector, fixed the problem, easy peasy.

If the new mounts are unsagged, may I suggest, with judicious care and measured effort, reset the offending low pipes with a floor jack and wood blocks as packing to confine the movement and concentrate the forces where needed.

First, make sure the motor mounts nuts underneath are threaded all the way up and tight. A lot of stuff is easier to do on these cars if you spin the nuts down near the bottom but leave them threaded on.

If they are, loosen the clamps on the muffler tips, tap them up with a mallet or your hand until they look better and even, then retighten.

Will it be kind of easy to tell if the motor mounts are threaded up tight? I don't have a lift or anything here, so kind of all I've got is going to the garage and laying down and looking - otherwise I need to take it somewhere with a lift to inspect.
