I am looking for a 997.2 gts model
I used to have a 997 a few years ago and sold it (and regretted ever since)
Any other suggestion other than autotrader?
I should try Bringatrailer or Pcarmarket but had a bad experience with online auction.

I actually found mine on the less popular cars.com . Join PCA and go to an event or two and ask. We have a huge cars and coffee in west palm and if you seen a clean one make an offer on someones. Worst they can say is no. Holt sells real nice cars call them. I would avoid the boutique porsche guy in miami and truth be told i know grand prix motors has a lot of porsches but they're reviews used to be terrible. The classified cars here are usually really good quality with other members vouching for honesty in the comments. Put up a want to buy ad. A decent ones gonna be 100ish depending on options.

This is how I found my 997. You can do a "test drive" membership if you don't own a Porsche. Buying from PCA is nice. In my opinion it's better odds that the seller has properly cared for the car. Obviously, due diligence is still necessary.

There's a whole thread on 997 GTS cars for sale where those interested in that model pretty much post every one that comes available.

Some of the specialty brokers may be able to find you one. There's many so I won't name all of them. Otherwise, just try and keep an eye out on the popular sites like cars.com and auto trader. PCA can be a good resource, but I've found so many of those cars to be overpriced too.

Best way to get a .2 GTS is to always be looking at all the obvious sites, be patient and have $$ ready to make a move. These cars don't often come up for sale so you really need to be "Johnny on the spot".

If you don't find what you're looking for in PCA classifieds, autotempest (I like this one because it does a lot of searches for you), cargurus, autotrader, etc, you might have luck with some of the smaller bespoke outfits who track down cars for people but I don't have any experience with them. Do check out that thread mentioned earlier though; they do pretty much cover every single publicly listed GTS that goes for sale so would be an easy way to get a good idea of the market as it is today.

I love Rennlist for the entertainment as well.
Guy on the 992 forum was asking how to launch his car and the reponses were all over the place.
@CLKGTR perspective is also important, in that many of us have been 'here' for now almost 2 decades, and the same questions get asked week over week, month over month, and sometimes sarcastic comments are made because of that. I took hexagone's comment as funny and not malignant so look at his comment as jovial.
