I do take note of where I park. However, when I can’t see it frustration and panic overtake.
also, when parking away from others, when I return it is surrounded by others who must see and look at a super car. Tried “find my car”
app on my iPhone. This looks pretty good. No communication necessary with a tile. This app takes a gps location of my car and saves it to a map. It even calculates a “route” to find it.
i would rather have an alarm on my key to sound the horn.

Got air tag in frunk. Tag doesn’t always work immediately. Shows last known location, might not be current location

Should be easy, it looks like you parked on the wall of the building:

Sorry, I couldn't resist!

I do lose my car too, despite parking in the farthest corner spot

I have an AirTag and will install . . .

The Smarttop module lets you program alarm chirps on lock/unlock

Ohhhh, would love to get the smarttop, but it’s a bit pricy. Using “Find my car” now. It works well for my purposes.

My parking lot fear is proximity to other cars.

Today's example.....6 spots going from left to right numbered progressively. Furthest left = #1, one step right #2, another step right #3, etc. etc. ALL are empty so.......

I park in spot #6 (furthest from intended establishment) so I can squeeze the passenger side of my 911 as far to the right as possible allowing me max driver door opening space as well as a buffer zone from the 7 year old kicking open the passenger door on their parent's androgenous sedan with the 100 pound doors right into mine with little regard as to whatever that "clang" was they just heard.

I exit the place of business only to find that spot #6 (me) is now accompanied by spot #5 and #4 being filled.......(mind you I parked AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE from main entrance with ample spots all over the lot).....with spot #5 (closest to me) straddling the painted parking stripe on MY side of the lot. Not #4......MINE. I had no idea the 997 had such a strong magnetic pull.

No harm done....no door dings found, but still.......makes me want to never park the thing outside of an "enthusiast-specific" event. (facepalm)

(Sorry I didn't take a pic....I really should have....it was as ridiculous as the picture in your mind) :P

Happens all the time. AND our buddies parking next to us obscure the low sitting 911.
Reason I get anxious, I thought I parked over here, but don’t see my baby.

I have added it to all my 997s as I can’t live without chirp on locking the car as it’s so quiet I don’t know if I did when walking away. The extras of remote for windows and cab top down, delay on drunk release (never had a problem prior) and passenger one touch window down are icing on the cake. I would do it. Very simple install.

1. lift it.
2. Off Road Flag whip.
3. (optional) SUPER loud livery.
4. KEEP IT DIRTY.
no more issues.

BTW, I am not totally joking. I had a friend in 1990 who would let his desert whip flag up on his baja bug when we would park in the SUPER packed HS parking lot. When we would get out of class later, he would look into the parking lot dazed from a long day of sleepy 90s high school learning and almost jump when he would see the flag. haha.

How much does the smart top cost?
This sounds like the right solution.
