When cold, above 2,200 rpm and below 3,000 rpm with light throttle for the first 10 minutes or so. Not too hard to do unless your house is right by the interstate on-ramp.

You got guts bringing up an interloper! I think this group here is pretty conservative bunch... keep it in the tribe... nothing radical...

I did a quick lookup of that oil and it is not Porsche approved A40 spec. Porsche has a formulation guideline (?) that oil makers will show on the bottle if conforming. Porsche used to publish a list of A40 oil brands and types every few years, but I haven't seen one lately. One of the issues that nerds have with this A40 spec is that it does not contain Moly (MoS2) or other additives that many here including engine builders feel is important for our cars. Hence, this thread, and the passion some here have for Driven oils that have MoS2 among other additives in one bottle. I chose an A40 oil, LM Leichtlauf 5W, and add Ceratec. Others have their favorite base and additives.

Also regarding that Pennzoil oil, I could not find if it had MoS2 in it or zinc... or other stuff folks here love. So that oil you suggested is a bit out of spec even for this group.... unless I have it wrong... if so, post the data and join the fun.

Peace

I saw a video where they analyzed those Pennzoil oils and I think all 3 offerings performed the same way in all the years so there wasn't any reason to pay the extra for the more expensive one.

Here’s the video I saw and thought maybe this oil was worth a try.
