Thanks for letting me know. I’ll have to find that video and give it a try. 👍

Another job which seemed easy but took me more than I had anticipated, changing the interior lights to LED. I got a cheap kit from Aliexpress ($9) and it was missing the door lights. Also, the sun visor mirror lights included in the kit were much bigger than the ones in there already so after changing them, I tried to close the whole plastic assembly and broke it, so reverted it to the OEM ones.

Installed an Android HU, I feel like I’m on this century again. I wanted to keep things OEM+ so I installed the mic in the OEM location and replaced the 12v plug on the passenger footwell with 2 female USB plugs.

I fixed my rear parking sensors! Since I got the car, when I put it in reverse there was a continuous beeping, as if I was about to hit something. Yesterday I removed the rear bumper and found the culprit, a broken connector. Luckily it had been ripped apart cleanly, probably from a rear hit, so I was able to just plug the pins again.
This is how it should look like:
And this is what I found:
You can see the pins in there:
Happy to have a working rear parking sensor again. Not because these are expensive but it’s not as easy as buying a new one as they need to be painted (I doubt you can buy them in your body color straight from the supplier).

bit of an update:
I got back my stock mufflers with the Fister mod done and painted them with heat resistant paint. Still not installed, though.
I had an issue with my Morimoto lights as one of them couldn't be adjusted vertically. Well, it did, but when I turned the car off and on again it didn't store the position I had set it in and just pointed to the ground. Morimoto was super helpful and sent a replacement my way, installed and it worked perfect:
And this is a glimpse at my new project. I bought Bilstein B16 Damptronic coilovers, together with Cargraphic's Airlift kit. Mixed feelings with this one. Missing parts (I've contacted them and I'm waiting on a response), no TUV certificate 3 weeks after having received the order and sent them my car's VIN number as they requested to generate the certificate, and also their instructions are very, very outdated and not helpful at all (I found @Petza914 's install pics far more useful even if they're 10 years old and not the best resolution). I can more or less guess how things are installed but because I'm not 100% mechanically inept, not because their instructions are of any help. I asked for an updated version and they said they don't have any. For example, they don't mention an external air compressor, which now comes standard with their kits, and just refers to the OEM compressor that comes in the 997. So one of the things I had to do was to find a proper place for the external pump. Since I installed an Android head unit and I wasn't using the DVD navigation anymore, I removed the DVD drive and reused the bracket to bolt the compressor there. It was just a test but I think it's a good location.
I plan on documenting the install because I've looked everywhere on the forums and there's not a good resource on how to install this kit, which is a shame because the quality seems to be top notch.

That will be a tidy install. Just to be safe, may want to see how hot the top of the compressor head gets when running and make sure it won't melt the plastic, but it shouldn't run for more than a few seconds (maybe 5-10) at a time.
I mounted mine next to my Optima battery.on the battery tray. Originally this red top 34R but now a yellow top H6/Group 48

I also noticed that the inlet port of the Viair compressor expects to have a filter in there. Did you install one in yours, Petza? Mine didn't come with any. I've messaged Cargraphic about it because in the instructions, the image for the product number that matches the compressor has both a mounting kit (also not included in my order) and the filter.
