Hi all,

it's that time of year again where i change out my thrashed up lip



FVD sells the lip i'm going to buy (sick of the poor fitment of the ebay rubber ones and would rather spend an extra $70 on something that fits better). They have an option for it without the air vents cut - I had never seen this. Anyone have opinions on it? any pics?

It's the cup lip, as far as I know...

 

Don't the air vents feed the brake scoops on the front LCAs to help keep the brakes cooler?

 

The Cup lip is sold with and without holes.

For the street, I’m not sure it would matter. For the track, I’d want with holes.

The cup lip is quite pliable.

 

Thanks! I think i'll stick with non cup with vents.... I already scrape everything everywhere.

 

Check Carnewal as well. I just bought a pair from him albeit wiith vents, but he carries both.

 

The Cup lip is pretty low along with springs/drop even lower. I keep door edge on mine to deflect some of the road rash. Besides the scuffs it's a durable lip.
