Default Speeddiagnostix oil analysis

Changed the oil on my 2007 Targa 4S. Values look good on the 50K mile factory replacement engine, but wanted to get others opinions. Replaced with Driven DT40 for the increased Moly additive and peace of mind.

The link provided by TerrestrialFlyte has a lot of good data points for you to compare against. Assuming those are street miles, the viscosity is a bit too low and the wear is a bit high but this is typical if this is your first OCI of DT40 as there is considerable cross contamination (the engine holds ~1.5 quarts of oil even after you drain it all).

One thing that's weird is that Speediagnostix is back to showing "fuel dilution" as a binary measure -- eg. "negative" rather than showing the actual %. I have seen other reports like this previously where it was binary, then ones dated later where they show the %, now this one is 12/19/23 and they are back to just showing "negative". This is annoying since obviously you would want to know the actual percentage. I also wonder why they keep changing it back and forth as far as the convention of how to show it.

Glad you switched to DT40. Those metal wear numbers are high for 800 miles. Those are numbers you'd see at 4,000 - 5,000 miles. Lets see what the DT40 one looks like when it's next changed after a few thousand miles.
