997.1 C2S Aero kit
I would really like to modify my car with an aero kit. It seems the front bumper piece is readily available from multiple sources, but very difficult to find the rear hood and wing. Anyone know where to source that from?
I also read on one of the sites that had the front piece for sale that Porsche does not recommend installing without a rear spoiler. Is there really any concern with that?

I bought the front bumper from Porsche and got a rear wing from Getty Design. Very similar to the factory piece and high quality.

I have the aerokit front bumper and have had it for over 10 years. No rear wing. I've run with a front lip (both OEM and aftermarket), without a front lip and now ride with a foam lip thing. I've been on two different racetracks (AMP and Road ATL) with this car, multiple times, at speeds of 150mph. I have video with data if you'd want to see it. I will say that the rear end gets a bit light and sketch in high winds at 150mph, but other than that - you would never know the difference.
I think the OEM front and aftermarket rear is a good option, but wingless is also an option - don't let the fear mongers and sheeple talk you out of that, unless you plan to go faster than, say 140mph.

The Getty wing while more work for the paint shop is an exact copy of the factory piece. It’s pretty nice.

I had a 997.1 GT3 Getty design wing and it was super nice, then I sold it and bought a sport classic duck tail from them, also great quality.

FYI - Getty Design website back up and running - looks much improved over what it was before.
