Default 2024 911 Turbo S with new badging

My cousin is picking up his 2024 Turbo S in Stuttgart this May. He’s doing the program where he drives it for two weeks while he vacations and then drops it off at a predetermined location and Porsche then ships it to a dealer in N. America for final delivery. Porsche provides the insurance for his use over the two weeks and also picks up the tab on arrival night and departure night 5 star hotels. Seems like a sweet deal to me.

He mentioned that the Turbo S, starting with the ‘24 model year, will be coming with new badging, with black and grey replacing the red, yellow and black colors of the traditional badge. Seems rather odd to me, but I’m sure Porsche has thought this through and has its reasons,
.

The Euro Delivery programs are excellent. It's good to know they are being offered again after a long hiatus.

Why they'd mess with the crest colors that have been around forever is odd to me. Must be cheaper.

I think it would look good on the right color car. I still prefer the classic look.

My Dad's '24 Turbo S has the traditional badge on it. I think the new badge looks neat but agree it would look much better on certain colors than others. My old man's car is Shark Blue so I think the traditional is a better fit for a bright colored car.

I think there is something very elegant and classy with the gold/colored crest. I have just played around with wheel caps and feel the the plane black crest/silver wheel caps look cheap compared to the nice gold/colored caps. I am afraid that may be the same effect here, but agree that the paint color of the car will make a big difference as well.
