I little bit of sin
Dear all,
Im trying to figure put a problem- Context is a bit 997 related but not 100 %. Not my intention either to throw something in any particular direction or comment any car model......
Here goes. A couple of years ago the family bought a litte Audi TTS quattro as a family roadster. Yes, we tried a Boxster but the choice fell on a TTS. The quattro made the difference, yes with a bit of tweak it sounds like a litte devil too.
Now i bought a aerosol can with OEM color for my 997 (4S 2011), artic silver metallic 92T, 92U, L92U, X1 Arctic Silver Metallic. i need a bit of color to my Audi TTS that is Ice Silver Metallic, LX7W, P5, P5P5, X7W
It LOOKS like the same to the eye but I cant find out either with RGB or HEX if it IS the same color. Does anyone know?
Course I can just order another can but id just like to know if anyone sits in the info.

I suggest going to Auto Paint store that specifically sells/are suppliers to auto paint shops in your area. They will color match the car's color with their computerized gun.
You purchase a 1/2 pint and then have them mix up spray cans from the 1/2 pint you purchased.
I have done ths many times when painting 911SC H4 Primered Headlight Trim RIngs. The color match was perfect.
I also used same steps in matching the paint color to my Jade Green 1953 356 Pre-A sunroof coupe to touch up a few areas on fender and sunroof edges.

Thanks. I actually just ordered from a proper paintshop. But, when they sit next to each other the cars,
the color look the same. Just had ask if someone had the same experience before. Its the same family...
