My battery totally died. After replacing, TPMS not working. Did a search and some suggested replacing the TPMS module. Did that but no luck. I know many have had the TPMS coded out. I want to keep it. Hoping someone has been down this same road and figured out the problem.
I've mentioned this in other TPMS Threads - For some odd reason the Porsche TPMS is problematic.
On the 7 997's I've owned, 2 of the cars had no problems with the TPMS readings. Other 5 threw the TPMS fault warning & !
The TPMS on my Mercedes SUV has been flawless over the past 5 years as well as my wife's Mercedes sedan. This is after tires changes, flat tire repairs/etc. My current 06 C4 TPMS is inconsistent and hasn't worked properly in 2 years ---->I'm having the TPMS disconnected when I take my car to shop next week.

Almost too embarrassed to post this, but realized all tires were about 8 PSI under recommended pressures. Added air, drove for 10 minutes for TPMS to reset and problem solved.
