Coffee spill on leather seat - leaving a “rough scar” on seat. How experts anyway to remove the scar please?

Porsche leather doesn't like water (or coffee). I know a number of folks that had to reupholster or buy new covers after their seats got wet from an open sunroof or clogged sunroof drain. The leather gets hard and lumpy for some reason and doesn't really recover from what I've seen

Also beware of wet bathing suit. 997 Cabriolet I had owned passenger seat bottom ruined from wet bathing suit.resulting in hard wrinkled leather.

I had a similar issue in my previous .1 when picking up my boys from swim practice if the didn’t put a towel dow first. I found that Bickmore Bick #4 leather conditioner was able to restore to previous condition. YMMV.

Clean it first before any conditioner. I use just some car wash soap (or dish detergent), water, and a hard sponge... then rub. No specialty leather cleaner for me. Then a plain old leather conditioner, nothing fancy. Other than that, I have no other tips other than letting it fully dry.

Peace
