Default Who's running 325 tires on 12" rears on 997 NB?

So I'm getting a set of wheels built to NB 997.1 GT3 Specs ( 19x9 et50 & 19x12 et63 ). Any NB owners with pics of 325 tires in the rear? And if any suspension mods were done besides coilovers?

I know I can play safe with a little stretch on the rear with a 305 tire but I'd prefer a meatier look. Thanks in advance.

I'm running 325/30/19 Cup2s on my NB 997 and lowered on the Bilstein B16s.

Attached is a pic for reference.

What are you running in the front? If you care about handling, I'd want to keep the front to rear section width "ratio" pretty constant to the OE narrow-body spec or you'll introduce more understeer.

My 997.2 C2S is most fun on its winter setup with 265 rears. Looks aren't the best, but it's fun.

Thanks a lot for the pics. This really helps! Are you running 245/35/19 in the front?

I'll be running 245/35/19 in the front.

I'm running 255/35/19 for the fronts.

Luckily no rubbing front and rear.

I am on my supercharged 997 c2s with 255s up front. Only thing I had to modify was the larger bake cooling scoops I'm running by cutting a notch in them that
the wheel rotates in (has nothing to do with the tire size).

So he does have a set I was very interested in BUT this time I'm going with Precision Forged out of California. They have a very small footprint, very active social media and carry lots of wheels in monoblock and 2 piece configurations.

I have 2 buddy's that have bought from them and the quality is great. I was looking for BBS LMR's but these wait times are absolutely ridiculous. So, I'll be the guinea pig for the Porsche community and try them out.

I'm waiting on the renderings right now as they build them to your specs.

I will be curious to see what tire you run in that size. I had a hard time finding anything that wasn't R compound or race rubber.

There seems to be a few options on TireRack.com right now

245/35/19 & 325/30/19

I run Nitto Invo on my 997 and 2 928s. They're fantastic and I'll continue to buy them for my sports cars that aren't tracked for as long as they make them

I have some crap pics. of a NB 997.2 GT3 on 245/325s. They weren't for posting, so they are literally just quick snaps. My friend who had this car swapped these back to 305s immediately.

I ran 325 series tire on a 11.5 inch wheel, couldn’t wait for the tires to wear out so I could go back to 305…. On my track day 19x12 wheels I’ll run 315 which give a similar feel to the 305 tire on the 11.5 wide wheel. The 325 felt like it moved around too much on the wheel
