Hey Guys Im looking for a 997.1 manual c4s maybe c2s but with an aerokit from factory. Does anyone know the numbers made with the aerokit ? Also anyone selling?

I've posed a similar question, I have a 2008 C4 S factory aerokit car and found info on RL for 2007, stating 7% of cars had this option, I have not seen numbers for other years.

If clean that is a 70-75K car. 89K is wild.

A bit pricey but the cars are clean and usually low milage.

 

I figured and it is definitely overpriced but has low miles. They show up here and there and you just have to be ready to buy. Aerokit 997.2's are even more rare but they are out there.

 

Might consider selling $75K. HIghly optioned with 16,xxx miles. PPF on entire front clip. BBS CH-R wheels. PM me if interested.

 

Basically what I heard from a friend of mine who's in sales at the local dealership. It was never a popular option and something around less than 10% of both .1 and .2 997's were built with factory aerokit. Explains why they're hard to find and why the few that exist have absurd asking prices sometimes. Two edged sword though. Few cars available but also few buyers interested in them.

My friend in sales told me they had one of them that sat on the used car lot long enough where they finally converted it to a regular coupe and sold the aerokit on Ebay. I think the color of that car along with "less than clean" condition may have contributed though. Whatever the case, he told me it sold two weeks after the aerokit delete.

So to the OP.....this may have been done by other sellers so check Ebay for an aerokit and just buy a regular C2S or C4S coupe. You probably have to paint the aerokit if you find one but that's not a big expense. Nor is the swap between the regular coupe tailkit and the aerokit.
