Sorry no pictures.
I just bought some flat steel at Home Depot and bent it in a U shape with short legs. The legs have holes that allow the steel to be bolted into the seat belt holes in the car.. The legs are twisted so that the central section is vertical and the legs are vertical.
There are 2 wood ribs under the speaker box you can see in the picture. They have 2 embedded screw inserts on the back side of each rib. To install the speaker box, you push is down vertical so that the wood ribs sit behind the steel brackets. You then put in screws horizontally through the steel brackets, through the wood rib and into the screw inserts..

I’ll post pics as I build mine so you can see. I’m hoping to start in a few weeks, once the temps are consistently in the 80s. Hope I don’t screw it up (typically my MO). :-)

Hello! First time I would "improve" the audio of my car. I got a quote (higher than expected, $190 in adapter and other items $450 to install it, welcome to Finland!) which contains door speaker + dash tweeters + center speaker and Bluetooth module.
Speakers are Gladen Zero 80 3" and Gladen 8" (not sure which model exactly) and tweeter Gladen Zero 25mm
Bluetooth is Mr12volt bluetooth for 997
Does anyone have experience with this brand? Is it a good quality? I often read about Focal on here.
Curious about your feedback

Went to a different place. Cheaper speaker but they will also change the amp and put some light sound deadening and they mentioned both changes before I asked anything. They don't think high end speakers make a lot of sense on a cab with a noisy cabine.

Amplifier beauty panel installed
Finished
Well, it took longer than expected, but the end result was exactly what I was looking for.
I even got to upholster again, which was fun. And, I only made a few mistakes. Lol
Let me know what you think.
Next project is the fiberglass subwoofer enclosures.

The first fiberglass subwoofer enclosure is under way. Here is the mold being made, prep work, the front and top being fitted, and the inside being sound deadened.
I’ll be installing the Audio Control 10” subwoofer and doing the upholstery work this week. More pics to come.

OK, I’m waiting on the grey carpet, but also thinking about finishing with a gloss or vinyl option too.
Curious what you guys think?
First sub sounds awesome! But, when I put the grille on, the extension makes contact and buzzes so I took it off. Not sure what I’m going to do yet.
Always something….

That’s where the am heat sinks are so it does allow the heat to rise. We’ll see how “porous” the carpet is. :-)

Figure this would be a good place to ask, how are you guys setting up the Bose OEM speakers? Rear box and front doors 8” as subs or rear box as subs and the doors 8” as midbass?
